Elderberry Flowers

Mrs Butters has requested I make her some elder flower champagne. Could anyone tell me where I might find a bush to take some flowers?

Go for a walk down Dhoon glen, it's early though for elder flowers. My neighbour on Anglesey (1980...) made excellent elder cordial and something about 50% proof.

Many thanks for the (mostly) helpful comments. Old Kirk Braddan cemetery has an abundance of them, but as GD4ELI pointed out most have not opened yet. I did get enough for my needs (but 20). I have some dried ones as well if needed.

Well at the moment it looks like some evil witches cauldron, quietly bubbling away with all manner of objects floating on it. However I have followed the recipe to the letter so hopefully the end result should look like this: http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2011/jun/01/how-to-make-elderflower-champagne Not like this :post-18660-0-24050800-1371891089_thumb.jpg
