The Last Bulgam Miner 21
If TJ was a Real Manxman, he'd know that this thread should have been titled "Big Boat in the Bay" Thought that more would have picked up this. Obviously elderly contributors of manx heritage are rather scarce on this forum. although there are a lot of crabs contributing.

Your communications skills are certainly superior to your maths. Or did you pick 95% with a pin?

Obviously elderly contributors of manx heritage are rather scarce on this forum. although there are a lot of crabs contributing. Remember the phrase well, Bulgam Miner. Some of our forefathers would have taken to the hills and locked themselves and the animals in their tholtans upon spying a 'big boat in the bay'. I wonder why the Nationalists don't all jump in a bum-boat, and with colours aloft, row out to the imperialists and throw some rotten Shoprite fruit and a few oul mangles at this symbol of the repressive colonial power. If they tucked in behind the Tower of Refuge for cover, and then pulled like the clappers for a few leagues, they could even use the element of surprise and catch the British navy napping. 'Have a load of this yessir...' Incidentally, whatever happened to the guy with the midget submarine ?
Endovelicus 465
What a terrible lack of planning - hordes of randy sailors in Douglas and only a bank holiday bus service to bring girls in from Peel!
