MikeW 55 Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) After a particularly warm weekend, I took this out of focus and slightly dodgy photo of the sun as it was setting. There's a big active region (AR1785) of sunspots in the southern hemisphere of the sun which is moving towards the equator. More activity from our local star than I've seen in a long time!
