The licensing laws are fucking mental. How out of touch are the morons on the bench? Licence the main stage, but put a small fence around it to keep everyone penned in, then allow people out of the ar

Hi everyone.    I had fun at the Deep South fest, shame there weren't more people there AGAIN. I've said it every year that it is not marketed well enough despite being a great event. Its sa

DODGY!!!   More.'classic' stuff lined up for the Deep South Fest. I'm sure it'll be fun, remember seeing Dodgy in Summerland a million years ago. Quality nostalgia for those of us who were teenagers

Looks good. This is how music festivals should be done on the island, small and contained within what's actually possible, not like the big festivals which have failed lately.

If you do go down I recommend you give the Soundcheck stage. There seems to be more variety and creativity there.

A particular highlight was this girl rapper's cover of NiN / Johnny Cash's Hurt.

I hadn't heard this was on. I don't read the papers or listen to the radio, which doesn't help in staying informed about manx events, but who can blame me? I thought there would be more word-of-mouth about this though.

You obviously don't look at the local events threads much either then , Alibaba put a link up to the FB page on the 12th , then after that there were the various replies to that postsmile.png Edited to add , hope the low numbers don't put it off being on again . I wanted to go this year but work got in the way .
