Mission
How much are you planning on winning? Dunno, I haven't finished the list yet. I imagine it would need to be a sizeable win though. Might as well do something useful with the winnings.
Keristal
Thanks for the welcome back Mission, I have been lurking for too long but as Port Soderick is very dear to me I thought I should share some of my pics and memories. I think this advertising pice is from around 1910. I'm just sorting some other pics for William_Hartnell, I don't know in actual distance how far the North and South walkways went but I'll put the pics up shortly
Keristal
This a complete set of eight Port Soderick views, They give a fair idea of the extent of the walkways, I've included the glen and Keristal view as they are part of the set
Keristal
These are all pics showing the southern walkway it went quite some distance round the base of the cliffs I think the Dragon Rock was the southern most point.
irishwasa
I didn't realise the path went so far South beyond the cafe. Thanks for posting, they are great to see. Also, sent you a pm.
Keristal
There are still bits of the southern walkway visible from the sea, I'll have a dig through some of my more recent photos and see if there are any of the remains but not tonight. I've replied to your PM

irishwasa
Flats? Uurghh! Although it is difficult to see any viable alternatives for the place.
Gladys
Does it 'have' to be anything?
irishwasa
Does it 'have' to be anything? If someone has spent money purchasing it, is bound to become 'something'
woody2
Does it 'have' to be anything? If someone has spent money purchasing it, is bound to become 'something' it should remain as zoned leisure land, but it worth a hell of a lot more as housing, which is why they will sit on it until they get there way

Cliff
I remember fishing round the corner from your photo Gizo and can't remember the sea that clear
Gladys
The sea is very clear off Port Soderick. Presumably due to the lack of residences pumping their waste into it.
