Jersey European used to run their Blackpool iom Belfast service like that. The passengers not bound for Isle of Man as their destination stayed on. Current security regs won't allow that. Even with a 25 min turn around woul passengers want to fly MAN to LPL to IOM, and it take 90 mins?

What about Flybe combining the Liverpool and Manchester routes?

Touch down in Liverpool and carry onto Manchester.

Would also give an airlink between the two airports.

There's no real need for an airlink between the two - there's not even enough business for a direct coach or bus link, despite several attempts. In truth the distance is so short (only 24 miles as the crow flies) that the few people who need to make the connection will get a taxi or pre-booked mini-cab or go indirectly via one of the cities.

I can recall London Heathrow flights touching down in Liverpool on both the outward and inward flights. Must have been a while ago, they were flying BAC111's and Viscounts!

I put that down to poor navigation :D !

For £8 you can get off at Liverpool, jump on the coach outside and be in the centre of M'cr in 45 mins. Bargain.

Yes. Terravision. Great service. £12 return in fact. (There's a thread in Chat).
