Incidentally...2nd goal from Suarez assisted by Gerrard.

TBT.

Long ball from goalie, nice flick on to team mate...GOALLLLLLLLLLLL... Oh shit!

Suarez's sale price just went up I reckon.

nah if it were goals against a big team maybe he should be looking for a hat trick against that type if opposition

Who'll be the manager?

TBT.

Brendan Rodgers ? He had one player against England's 11 and beat them 2-1!

No can do, he's moving over to baseball by all accounts.

How about 'Big Sam' at West Ham for England Coach?

He's English and hasn't won anything, just needs an endorsement from some spurious Italian President (or Lonan3) and he'll dovetail beautifully with Hodgson's pedigree!

TBT.

Joe Hart's a real clownshoe. Bellowing like a walrus in the tunnel, flapping like a little girl whenever the ball comes near him, then in the last seconds stomping up field to push over one of our players as he goes to head the ball.

Another Gerrard fuck up. Blows the premiership and now the world cup, although to be honest they had no hope of winning it.

Yep, I agree with this Jacko but I do think that it was right that they changed the old guard for the most part and brought in the young uns as this should be the starting point of the future.

My expectations on this world cup are fairly low and if they qualify for the next stage, then they've raised the bar more than I thought, but more than anything, I want them to play exciting attacking football where defences are deeply concerned and our defence play the 5 in a line system that seems to be proving quite popular and successful.

To be honest, I had some doubts about Rooney, but he's done ok this time as also Roy Hodgson the manager. I would have preferred a win, but hey-ho, this didn't happen and IMO, the more the same young team gell together, the better they will become.
