JessTickle
Can anyone recommend an Island based company to provide IT support to a small company? No rocket science required. Just someone able to provide a response to IT issues in under two weeks, when you have paid hours available, would be a good start.
Shill
Hi, there are plenty of IT businesses on the Isle of Man. As I deal with a lot of them through my job role, I couldnt single one out. A good start would be to look in the phone book and set up a couple of meetings to get a feel for what each of them can provide that would be suitable to your requirements. JessTickle
I did that a few years ago and have ended up in an out of frying pan into fire situation, hence looking for recommendations. It would be useful to know who actually delivers on the promises they make rather than ignoring you once they have taken your money, because there is a big company that wants their time and that is considered more important. Thanks for your response though
Shill
Perhaps PM me what you are looking for, the size of your business, what hardware / software is to be supported and I can make some recommendations to you.
ans
I have used skanco in the past in a block hours purchase arrangement and found them to be very professional and flexible as well as quick to respond. At that time we were only a small company too (~15 users) I don't use them now as my team has grown but wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. x-in-man
Turn it off and on again. That'll be 50 quid please. Is my experience of IT support.

3v0
Turn it off and on again. That'll be 50 quid please. Is my experience of IT support. Everyone jokes about this but what I've found is despite being such a well known predictable response people are never actually smart enough to try it before calling that £50 per hour IT Support company. Shill
I'm not being funny, but when I try to browse for Profix's website using profix.im Chrome is trying to resolve to a sub domain on alotspace.com which fails. Doesnt fill me with a lot of confidence I have to say. When I look up profix.im The im registry mentions it is owned by Domain Monster. https://www.nic.im/public/whois.mth?domainname=profix.im&search=Who+Is+Search So something isnt quite right.
