UKIP hit the island

Recommended Posts

He wasn't there as a 'politician' and wasn't there to give a political address or to canvas votes for UKIP. He was an invited guest of the Manx Sporting and Dining Club. He is a natural entertainer and I'm sure most of the audience enjoyed it, and get what the visit was about.

Like him or loath him Farage is saying what a very great many people over hear are thinking.

To object to the transformation of the ethnic makeup of a continent over a few generations with a total reckless disregard for the consequences by the establishment is not racist. The repeated, hammered home insistence that this is racist over half a century is the basic lie that was used to close down all debate about the subject until very recent times.

Freggy - If you're referring to supporters of UKIP as Blackshirts then all that shows is that you wouldn't know a Blackshirt if one bit you where the sun don't shine.

Amongst the ranks of UKIP's support there seem to be plenty of racists, xenophobes and science deniers. The party likes to pander to sad and thick people's feelings inferiority and inability to accept the reality of the modern world. You are right though, that ex National Front guy organising UKIP in South Thanet couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag. By the way, keyboard warriors like yourself need to grow up. I'm not a psychologist, but your fantasy image of a blackshirt biting my genitals seems symptomatic of a suppressed latent sexuality you have trouble coming to terms with.

Sounds like you've bought into the church of leftie ideology Freggyragh. It really opens your eyes doesn't it. Keep drinking the kool-aid fella, and hope that one day you'll find your way out again.

Wonder if the Tories will get back in, across? Wonder if there will be a compromise with UKIP?

The tories have done a reasonable job with the economy given the mess they were left with. They haven't got the UK involved in any un-winnable wars yet (even though they tried hard last year). They haven't broken any major election promises and they haven't had too many high-profile scandals. On the whole they probably deserve another term. The Labour party is still reeling from the lost wars and the 'end of boom and bust' financial illiteracy of the Blair / Brown years. There's no room for compromise with the UKIP tobacco enthusiasts though. In turbulent times, especially given the behaviour of Putin, no responsible politician is going to compromise the UK by attacking civil liberties, ending the right to live and work in Europe, reneging on UN and Nato policy agreements, killing off international trade, or any other policy Prince and the Purple Revolution are pushing to keep themselves in the news. I don't much like Farage, but he is entertaining - and I think he knows he's just peddling fantasy to the hard of thinking.

Says an Englishman living in Mann, oh the irony.

It comes as a package mate, right wing brit colonists harping on about immigration and failing to see the irony.

Spain, Wales, France, Mann they are everywhere.

UKIP in Wales is built on colonel blimp types, but they think British = Their version of Englishness, and that this is Britain so they can do and say whatever they like!
