guzzi
http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/31204503 Adnan Syed, the subject of the 'Serial' podcast, has been granted an appeal.
Lucozade 2
I've been gripped by 'Serial'. Listened to all of it inside 5 days, and missing it big time now.
guzzi
'S Town' Compulsive listening, made by the producers of 'Serial' and 'This American Life'. I found the second 'Serial' series a bit boring, but this is excellent. All the episodes were released together, so that you can binge-listen if you wish. An investigation set in a very scary Alabama community, with a fascinating protagonist and a journalist/ presenter with more guts than I could muster in those circumstances. Have a listen, it's very good.

Chinahand
Very dry I admit but the FT Podcasts are very good, especially the Politics one: http://podcast.ft.com/
guzzi
If you enjoyed Serial and S Town, you might well like Criminal. Rather than being a serial investigation of a single crime, each episode stands alone. It has been going ages, so there's a succulent back catalogue to enjoy. It is not sensational, just absorbing and well presented. Oh, and the presenter, Phoebe Judge (yes really) has the sexiest voice I've heard on radio. Bobbie Bobster
Adam Buxton's added one more podcast to the giant podcast bin. Interviews with creatives that go beyond the usual 'what's your latest project' stuff.
guzzi
The latest episode of The Bugle podcast features a piece by Al Murray about the horse trams & the Island generally. A bit funny. Edited May 28, 2017 by guzzi
Bobbie Bobster
In a first for me, my library of unlistened-to podcasts is virtually empty (just 3 mins of The Business to finish listening to). Any suggestions as to good ones worth a spin?
