skins 17
Seventh vote - Braidwood & Anderson agreed between them that only one name at a time be put before the House of Keys Braidwood firstThen if he is not elected Anderson next No other nominations at this stage And the outcome - 12 votes for Braidwood So just Anderson being nominated for vote number 8 Edited June 22, 2015 by skins
skins 17
Eighth vote - the worry of having to come back for another ballot during the summer break obviously proved too much for some One nomination for Anderson, who is elected with 14 votes So two more bye-elections for the House Of Keys to look forward too!! ubbiali 215
Incredible, simply incredible. We really do need a referendum on the future of the Keys bolt hole for waste of space MHKs who know full well that they would have no choice in a public vote.
Celt 85
Electing Crookall to MLC makes about as much sense as electing Herod onto the Board of the Bethlehem Playgroup Association. The mans an idiot and electing him just shows bad ther present lot are. God helps us.
Non-Believer 12,459
This crock of shit needs consigning to oblivion. ASAP. For the sake of democracy and public respectability.

Trueblood 199
Ridiculous! Our Government are a joke. This is an embarrassment to democracy. I'm so angry and frustrated by this. Two more bi-elections when MHKs shouldn't be allowed to jump ship like this. Where's the integrity? They were elected by the people to serve them for five years. This is so wrong.
mannin1 1,117
They would in all probability ask for extra pay if they had to come back in the summer recess. What a pathetic display of the Manx Political system this has all proven to be !! The MLC package costs "over a full term" over a million quid a member for 32 hours work last year, its a truly insulting affront to all Manx residents who are struggling on a daily basis to make ends meet. TRULY UNDEMOCRATIC !!!
