Heathen 3
Does any one re-call, 'Uncle Mort',? He was a tall, thin, lugubrious Northener with a flat cap and muffler with fingerless gloves. I remember it looking as though he had been run over by a tram but he'd really fallen down an inspection pit just as the tram came. I can't for the life of me remember the series but it was a long time ago, maybe even black and white. I think I'm the only one in the world who remembers him, maybe because he looked like I am now ! (Well I do live down North.) Robin Bailey.... remember it well. Wasn't Hilda Baker in that series?Liz Smith. Obviously don't remember it that well?
