Fossils 573
This is further discrimination against the retired or retiring. You'll soon have to work until you are 90 and then travel by zimmer frame.

Declan 7,427
All bus stops are request stops. Signal the bus to stop . As the bus approaches, check the route number and destination displayed on the front of the bus. Raise your arm as a signal to the driver that you want the bus to stop. Alternatively, if it's not your bus, stand around looking gormless, until the driver stops, then look at him as if he's inconveniencing you.
woolley 19,199
Going back to the '70s, the terms of carriage made wonderful reading, including gems like prohibiting the trailing of streamers or flags from the vehicle, or throwing money from the vehicle for passers by to scramble for! What colourful lives passengers must have led in those days. In future they'll have no money to throw.

Donald Trumps 5,537
From Manx Radio Over-60s will no longer enjoy free train journeys and will have to pay half-fares on bus services between 4pm and 5.30pm on weekdays. Not much of a change except it's currently or used to be peak period between 8 and 9 and 5 and 6? As for Kate Beecroft, you might want to look up the policies of the Liberal Democrats in the UK for an idea of her goals. The sooner this island gets its own Conservative Party to challenge the status quo, the better. Labour and the Lib Dem style politicians and agendas are ruining this island. Christ, that's the funniest load of crap I've seen for a long time
Addie 1,388
Just one more reason to think about getting away from here really, they all add up and eventually the point will be reached that all we have is a bit of scenery, with no means for pensioners to appreciate it! Leave here and your pension will be stripped to the bone and you'll have to take out private health care (unless you are a politician that is). Oh the modern joys of Manx pensioners being interned on the Isle of Man.

Oh the modern joys of Manx pensioners being interned on the Isle of Man. Private health care for pensioners? Forget it. They are only interested if you are young enough to pay and not draw for a few decades. Otherwise the premiums will be prohibitive. Don't give your money to the man. Spend it, enjoy it and take your chance.
Addie 1,388
I truly think that these entitlement disparities for the island's people is a disgrace. Maybe time to join Europe and get a European Health card.
