Triskelion Drinks

Recommended Posts

Wandering through a supermarket in Jakarta when suddenly:

Why would there be a triskelion on soft drinks in Indonesia? :) I know it's an old symbol and all but I can't find much about its background around here.

The Isle of Man invented computers and even had a commemoration 1p with a picture of a desktop.

And chips cheese and gravy but that hasn't been put on a coin yet.

I know someone who used to say that.

He had been unemployed for yonks (I thought he was a bit of a lazy get and a bit dim tbh) and then suddenly kept saying how he had a job on the boats. I thought good on him, maybe I had been mistaken. Maybe he will get his seaman's ticket etc. One of the fishing boats on the quay or even the Steam Packet maybe, but he never spoke about his work too much. Turns out it was serving in the kiosk at the boating lake in Onchan Park.

I'm afraid Canada already has chips, cheese and gravy covered. They call it Poutine and it's a bit of a national dish.

Damn! Now I'm going to have to go to the Lucky Star and get me some Poutine.
