After several days into the announcement of police investigations into Ted Heath's alleged assaults on children, not a single substantiated claim has been made public!

Because they own the media press.

That disproves it all, he was obviously a very  nice man then.

Well there was certainly never any proof, or even anything approaching it. Just wild accusation spread around as malicious rumour, developed by nutcase conspiracy theorists and taken up by the unbelievably credulous police.

As I said, there is no escape from trial and verdict by internet. Whatever the circumstances, you are damned forever by the poisonous allegations. In a way it's similar to the "never went to the moon" stupidity. No matter what scientific evidence is produced it just will not go away. If you have it in your head that Heath, Brittan etc. had a paedophilia club going, there is no way that you are going to be convinced otherwise, is there?  Innocent until proven guilty. Always.

No they don't. You call this reliable evidence? The ramblings of an old man about what he alone alleges happened 50 years ago? And he can't find anyone to corroborate his story. https://factuk.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/2017-False-accusation-cases.docx

Try delving a little deeper. He also alleges a string of people with public reputations were "at it". He goes as far as to suggest that Michael Foot and Ted Heath were cruising around looking for young boys together, which is just about as bat shit crazy as you can get. Tellingly, his online promotion machine chose to keep the Michael Foot allegation low key, and concentrate on the Tories in high places. Does this not indicate to you that Mr Reeves was a useful fool to those pushing an agenda? If Mr Reeves suddenly accused you of paedophilia and told a tale about what you did many years ago in similar vein, does that mean that he is automatically telling the truth? Does it also mean that we should believe him and proceed to traduce your reputation and drag your name through the dirt?

It's the old adage Woolley:  People will always prefer to believe a lie than the truth.

Particularly when lies are dressed in the truth's clothes.

Yes, and particularly where those propagating the lies have a political agenda or a pecuniary motive.

So, when are you going to apply this wisdom to your understanding of brexit?

I'm sure the question is rhetorical for effect and you know the answer, but I'm not going to move that to here!

No it doesn't prove he's guilty but where there's smoke there's fire and there's a lot f smoke.

It's just too easy for attention seeking individuals to jump on the me too bandwagon and it prospers on the internet where warped imaginations feed each other. Innocent until proven guilty and there is not a shred of evidence against Heath.
