JonnoPromotions presents An evening with Colin Hay from Men At Work. Opening act: Strengyn. Supported by more music 3FM.

Recommended Posts

Scottish Australian musician and actor, Colin Hay, familiar to millions as front-man, songwriter, and vocalist of pop sensation Men At Work ("Down Under," "Overkill," "Who Can It Be Now?"), makes his Isle of Man debut for JonnoPromotions supported by More Music 3FM!

He's an artist who is a true master of his craft, over the past 16 years or so, Colin has reinvented himself as a solo artist, regularly selling out theatres and listening rooms across the US and around the world and introducing himself to a new generation of fans in the process.

The frequent use of his music in TV and film - including hit shows such as Scrubs (on which he has made several cameo appearances) Army Wives and Modern Family, the hit soundtrack to the film Garden State and the recently released Words and Pictures - has proven the timeless appeal of his songs.

A great evening of entertainment in prospect with a short guest opening slot from Manx music maestros Matt Kelly and Paul Rogers - aka Strengyn!

I have tickets for this, Gaiety Theatre on 4th May, looking forward to it, and recommend, at least the Colin Hay bit, don't know the support act. I have about a dozen Colin Hay albums, hard placed to find a bad track on any of them.
