Quentin Gill is a nice person, like others will testify is totally useless. Lobby Fodder and all round establishment guy, unlikely to rock the boat or question decisively ..............sadly. We need

I await the return of Martin.

Probably more to do with the expenses package

A good tip for him would be to avoid those mental three point turns and hill starts while manoeuvering his way through interviews. He gets himself into all sorts of tight spots. He even allowed himself to be beaten by Gawne last time in Rushen, but I see he's popped up in East Douglas this time around.

He states that his time away has made him appreciate Manx politics more !!

Couldn't be anything to do with the pay and pensions package now could it Mr Gill ?or am I just being overly cynicalcrying.gif

I did nothing last time and will endeavour to do even less if I get elected now I know the score.

And bottomed the poll in the 2002 Douglas West by election.

This guy spent two terms as an MHK and is remarkable for nothing other than for being unremarkable. An establishment puppet at heart. Worst case scenario for me is Chris Robertshaw and this guy worming their way in as Douglas East MHKs.

Jonno is looking better every day.

Make it 160 Jonno.

We need MHKs who are prepared to challenge, probe and make hard decisions - rather than be reliant on £10K.

He did well destroying Earnshaw's Criminal Justice Bill.

I didn't vote for him last time around, but he came across as a conscientious MHK.

Well it was rather a turkey shoot . . .

I seem to remember him as one of the Tynwald 'awkward squad' - not in any way an establishment clone. Welcome return and I hope he gets in.

^ Awkward squad my arse.

^^ Conscientious my arse.

And he doesn't reply or acknowledge correspondence, in my experience.

Well he didn't in mine. Anyway, he's buggered off from your constituency now. Maybe that is why he answered yours but not mine (Anderson is one for doing that btw, even when he was Health Minister, only his constituents were replied to).

Anyway, the knacker is in my constituency now.

I say again, Jonno is looking better by the minute

At least he doesn't play the man of the people card.
