Oh dear!

Does this mean the former social worker Mrs Piebaps is one of those identified by the report?

Treating people with respect, respecting their rights and refraining from abusing and threatening them is something your wife and her colleagues have failed to do - resulting in the investigation.

Now they are running for cover, going sick, taking early retirement or moving of the Island in order to try and prevent their behaviour and actions being exposed.

Public servants my arse.

Self serving, dishonest, repugnant abusers funded by the public would be a more accurate description of these parasites!

Have you ever been privy to the interactions between families and social services, notwell?

What does that have to do with it? You asked for a short summary. I gave you one. You asked about the accusations. I replied.

As far as I can see I've saved you reading 45 pages and really you should be thanking me.  Not acting like a nonce

I was just curious how you knew it was a witch hunt.

That term infers that an accusation has been exaggerated or is untrue (e.g. "she turned me into a newt .......I got better").

"As I've said before, everyone will have their own point of view, based on whatever experience or understanding they have, but the truth lies within that report. This argument over who is right and who is wrong about the behaviour of social workers can be settled by simply publishing the publicly funded report"

Which it will be.  So where's the issue?

The delay in releasing the report creates suspicion that it is being altered or that those criticised are being given extra time to prepare a defence or get out before facing disciplinary action. It was an independent inquiry requested by Tynwald which took evidence from members of the public, and yet government has decided its release has to be delayed and witnesses denied access to it until they've finished 'tinkering' That's the issue.

How surprising to see Gay'n crawling out of the closet along with Piebaps..

Wonder what the connection there is?

Sorry if anyone thinks my statement is homophobic, as is the case with everything I say that Gay'n doesn't like.

For the record, as previously stated, I don't care if you are straight, gay, bi, male, female, orange, green, lean to the left or right politically, if yo are vanilla or a person who get of by sniffing horse shit.

The only people who have any problem with the truth are those who have something to hide.

Gay'n and Piebaps, this is a game of hide and seek you have already lost.

The independent report is neither being altered nor is publication being delayed, as has been said. The report first seen by the Council of Ministers will be the one which is published on October Tynwald order paper, the first available sitting of Tynwald since the beginning of July. Council of Ministers could not tinker with an independent report. To impugn otherwise is a slur on the authors' professionalism and integrity.

Evidence was taken from a small group of families and I believe also the officers and politicians involved. Facts were checked with these people I understand.

Government will lay a response and action plan before Tynwald in October 2017 alongside the independent report.

I don't know if it is true that complete versions of the report have been given to social workers while being denied to those who gave evidence. Mr Thomas needs to comment on this as a matter of urgency

I am assured that the very limited distribution of the independent report has been carefully controlled and is subject to the statutory confidentiality of Council of Ministers documents etc..
