Construction site opposite Spring Valley

It's supposed to be the garage for Jacksons, in the long term more likely to be a new Tescos

It does appear there is a mass exodus of retailers and financial companies out of Douglas and into the surrounding areas. Probably something to do with the ridiculously high rental prices. It's cheaper in the long run to literally go and build your own building.

Whatever ends up being built there, now would be a good opportunity for the powers-that-be to install a roundabout at the junction of the turn-off for B&Q.

They are doing exactly that as the entrance to the site goes in.

Yes it's the colossal new Jacksons car site.

You can get planning for anything so long as it contributes to growth of the economy in the IOM.

And it seems you can grub out hedges too.

For the umpteenth, I have nothing to do with TJ. I do not go up to Spring Valley very often and happened to be up there today buying a replacement iPod Nano at Curries.
