Nissan is talking about winding down UK production because of the mess which is Brexit. Including at their Sunderland site.

Sunderland voted for Brexit. I hope they enjoy their sovereignty.

We have oven-ready Morris Marinas and Austin Princesses ready to fill the gap in the market....

No doubt missing a few key engine parts from Asia - successfully delivered to Rotterdam for onward delivery but now stuck in the already choked-up backlog.

Type of thing.

Now look here.

I'm partial to a bit of Roquefort cheese with a pear and some walnuts on a salad of endive.

Just get it bloody sorted.

Couldn't you make do with some mild cheddar and a potato?

Delivery sometime in Feb.

Will the Brexiteers own this outcome or will they continue to argue that it was in some way sabotaged (can we still use that word by the way given its French origins?) by Remainers?

Brexiteers have;

- Won one referendum (just);

- Won one General Election;

- Hold all the key positions in the Cabinet;

- Have been leading the negotiations with the EU;

Project Fear or was it really project reality?

Boris very much on the back foot when he was collared by Sky News during a walkabout in Blythe this morning....none of the usual bluster, extremely evasive about any deal happening and just a comment that "Britain would rise to the challenge". He's well and truly driven the country up shit creek with no reverse gear.

Meanwhile the Brexit businessmen move their work out of the country; Rees-Mogg, Dyson and Ratcliffe to name just three - Ratcliffe now saying that his new French car plant has better logistic connections. Well, it will, if his car parts aren't stuck in a 7 mile artic tailback at any of the Channel ports trying to get into Britain and the original plant in Wales. Cheers Jim.

They will never own it.

It will be always someone else's fault.

UK Trade and Commerce bods today suggesting that the prices of some imported goods could rise by between 6% and 20% by the time tariffs and associated admin and time costs are added in the event of no deal. Plus any manufacturing operation operating on JIT is going to be in very difficult waters.

But there's no price on sovereignty, innit?
