Interesting interview with Boris and Laura Kinsberg on BBC news which references new tariffs / border controls etc which Boris call 'changes'.

On the whole the deal has been rushed and in my view will give rise to frictions, both legally and politically.

I see Chris Thomas feels there should have been a Tynwald vote on the deal as a matter of curtesy and as promised by Alan Bell.

No wonder there is cynicism and mistrust in the air over this.

I'm beginning to think that it was just a question of rushing it through as quickly as possible to "Get Brexit Done" and satisfy the ERG. A lot of people and businesses trading with EU are going to be shit on shortly.

I see from sn article on Sky News today that the Scottish fishing industry is less than enamoured with the position it now finds itself in regarding its fresh seafood exports to the EU.

Miles of red tape and HMRC inexperience in raising the necessary paperwork to allow the export of a very perishable commodity means that trailers are currently parked up and fishing boats tied up simply because they can't export it before it goes off. Workforce are furloughed and the situation is apparently going to take some considerable time to resolve.

It's ok, I'm sure the UK's fisheries minister will have closely read the final deal and made sure that it was the best it could be.................................................... doh

The fishermen might not be happy, but the newly British Fish are.

Classic tory misdirection there, getting everyone talking about fish while the Friday afternoon press releases quietly come out about the abolition of workers rights.

Remember EU BAD, British good.

Don't forget it was the EU that insist that kippers have to be posted with an 'ice pillow'

Why anyone is surprised that this Government is unprepared for Brexit is the big shocker!  We held all the cards!  We were going to do away with EU red tape.  The EU can't survive without the UK!

Surprisingly seems to strengthen the position of employees in most cases.  That is, of course, assuming that whatever announcements you are referring to have not changed these

The Scottish fishing industry is 500 miles+ away from Westminster. Conveniently difficult to hear or see them at that distance. Also a tiny part of UK GDP.

Boris and his mates have their own interests and benefits to advance.
