petrol on the rise again

Just driving into Douglas and from quarterbridge the prise goes from £122.9 - £125.9. Luckily we have the OFT looking out for us and will sort this out.

Once upon a time there was an ancient and venerable thread on this topic dating back into the forgotten mists of time (2010). And it went on discussing it. And for five and half years the same thread continued, holding a record of the changes in petrol prices over that time as well as correcting misconceptions over pricing and linking to useful information.

Then some idiot came along and decided to start another one.

And another one.

And..

Yeah? No. the current hike is still mply due to IOM buying at the bottom of the GGP USD exchange rate. A shame. Winter is the cheapest time and lowest price for petrol. Let's hope they buy our summer allocation soon while Gasoline is cheap, and the exchange rate has improved!
