mollag 366
Had a look to Tynwald Mills, the Memsahib did the shops, I went straight to the Cafe. I enjoy the tea there, they use boiled rather than steamed water, i find the steamed has a "tainted" taste, maybe it's just me. There was an offer, with the tea came a nice piece of "bonnag" with butter, £2.50 for both. All in all i enjoyed it more than i probably should, messing with the teapot, milk jug etc seemed more pleasurable than a bag in a mug. Not earth shattering but a pleasant trip. [ and the missus bought sod all which was also nice]

woolley 19,198
You could of course have just walked around the shops with her instead. Or is the fact that you didn't the reason for your finding the cafe offering so agreeable?
