Ramsey Courthouse For Sale

The courthouse, as has been pointed out from the outset, is far too small to be an effective community space. This has been a decision made on heartstrings, rather than effective and efficient financial prudence. It was poor practice and bad judgement. If we wanted a big ‘indoor if wet’ venue, the old Methodist Church was where the money needed to go.

At every level within the governance of this island, we really do need to wake up and immediately realize exactly where we are at this moment at time. Money is being spaffed at a faster rate than ever, the public sector is bigger than ever, and receipts are not healthy.

lets just get rid of it, take the hit and move on.

And you  sarcastically call me “ an expert”. ? This is not England old boy.

Who, in their right mind, apart from you, would try to turn a Methodist church , you know the ones who don’t drink and are very anti drinking, into a effing distillery ? How insulting to the church. Sometimes I can not believe what you post.

A church is the congregation not the building, or so churchgoers will tell you.

They're all pissheads on the quiet anyway. There's Methodist preachers in my line of family. Pissheads to a man.

I’ll have you know that I was Christened and brought up in a Methodist house.
Maybe I strayed a bit

Still not Methodist though. Nice places though, I’ll give you that.

Bob Dylan, you know that guy who sings a couple of songs, has converted a Methodist Church into a Whiskey distillery.

Method - ism is a very weird thing for people to get involved with.

Catholicism and High Church Anglicanism I get. And Judaism obviously on which that is all based. Because that's all essentially about metaphor.

But Method - ists actually seem to be supposed to simplistically believe the metaphors as if they were anecdotes. It's very odd. Like treating jokes as a reportage.
