Taxpayers to dig for £20M for Liverpool Dock

Recommended Posts

Why not stick with Birkenhead? Charge foot passengers a couple of quid for a seat on a minibus to lime st, save 20 million. Or can't we use it all year round?

New Isle of Man Ferry Terminal
The Manx Parliament has approved funding for a new £3.5m Isle of Man Ferry Terminal at West Waterloo dock. The current berthing facility is nearing the end of its operational life and the decision was taken to relocate the facility providing new and improved facilities. Planning Permission is to be sought and the City Council is seeking highway funding to deliver a new access road to take traffic to the new site directly via Waterloo Dock and to reduce congestion on the Waterfront.

What's to debate about the post that preceded mine? It was utter nonsense. Please don't pretend otherwise.

Not at all Frances is a long standing and eminently sensible poster on MF and a mine of knowledge on Manx history.

How would you berth a seacat at birkenhead, the berth has a very high walkway where you tie up to. Not suitable at all

Will the new port have a giant light switch for the last person leaving the Island to switch the lights off?

Just thinking ahead to when the finances collapse.
