As predicted, when his holiness the Chief Cockwomble was interviewed on BBC Breakfast this morning, his only reference was about TT visitors being able to get here. No mention of the effect on residen

I think when most people hear of a contingency plan being in place the expectation is for that contingency plan to kick in immediately upon the happening of the event the contingency was planned for.

Writing the adverts now, ‘Steam Packet Airlines, if there ain’t a boat in the morning, there probably won’t be a plane either’.

Planes now being seized, so that's it. Just in time for the TT.

Flybe is gone. A wise businessman knows when to cut his losses. Shame, I flew many times to the IOM with FlyBe, never let me down.

Yes, me too. Only times for me personally that flights didn't go was down to uncontrollables like fog.

Ann Reynolds will be on shortly to announce Plan D...

I hope she'll remember to impound the plane this time!

Am I fuck, I’m booked on a flight next week

Well you may still fly, it's not clear about Stobart Air, you may be lucky.

I probably have to drive up country to pick people up in a couple of days as Flybe seems to have really gone this time and they left their cars down here.
