London fire: Lives claimed at Grenfell Tower

Recommended Posts

Multiple fatalities after the flammable exterior of a building goes up.

Chillingly familiar to Summerland. I had always assumed construction like that was outlawed after 1973

Aunty interviewed an inmate so to speak. A truly horrific experience. However he also mentioned some maintenance work was being carried out on the gas installation.

That is crazy, how can a modern concrete tower block go up like that? I know a few people who used to live on that estate.

That certainly should not be able to happen from a fire in a single flat. Some of the refurbishments that happen seem to compromise the safety features of the original build.

Seems to be the external cladding installed in 2016 which has facilitated the spread of the fire.

I wondered how long it would be before somebody used a disaster to blame the Tories.
