gettafa
Not sure if the 3 legs is able to be registered as a logo but Razer Inc have surely lifted it. From Team Razer: Any thoughts?

mojomonkey
Pretty much all national flags are too old to be trademarkable.

You make a good point, but its not just 3 sticky out things. It's the circle and celtic type twirls and general look. And the rope work is a bit SteamPackety Tarne, I thought Razer Inc had changed their logo over the years. Not sure how long the three heads snake thing have been used. gettafa
De nada, yeah I see. And I also realise the often futile and often pointless nature of oor Terry's Miss Isle of Man feature. The similarities and 'feel' of the logo just seem more than serendipity.
Bobbie Bobster
Current steamy logo is a lot 'cleaner' design with less twirly bits. Since the Razer lot have been using this for a good few years, it's probably safe to say that there is no protection for the logo. IANAL but if a rival shipping operation started up with a predominantly black, white and red three legs logo there might be ructions.
