But didn’t he tell them to stick the driving job up their arse and then come back an hour or so later and try to retract telling them to stick everything up their arse? That’s not them being in control or bullying is it? The best way to keep your job tends to be not to tell your superiors to stick the job up their arses.

It is difficult/nigh on impossible to sack a Government employed worker once they have nestled in. You can only pray for moments when they say "stick your job up your arse" or similar.

The question may have already been asked but what was the specific urgency that warranted that particular car and its occupants to reach its destination so quickly? Did those occupants have any major, specific role in the immediate aftermath of the incident they were attending? Would a slower speed have been suffice and if so, might the collision have been avoided?

Was that cars speed really necessary?

If the car had of only doing 30mph, and the bike 80mph, it would have been a 110mph impact, so the speed of the car ( going in a course direction ), probably wouldn`t have made much of a difference to the outcome really.

Nobody here knows what speed either the car or the bikes were doing. It’s just the usual rabid feeding frenzy Lightbulb. What you say is correct though, if both were doing 50 mph the result would be the same.

If one or the other had been going slower, then there would have been a better chance of avoiding the collision. This is often the case for the prosecution in court cases.

While it is true that we don't know the facts our natural curiosity  and for some, a sense of responsibility for being the host for this situation, creates our interest in this.

If the facts are hidden from us, then it is only to be expected that we will speculate and also wonder why the facts are being hidden.
