Another dumbing down of the population, we won't need to think for ourselves shortly, there will be some machine doing that for you! Uber is the real test bed here. All those drivers are slowly putting themselves and others out of employment as they destruction test the software and systems in live trials until they won’t be needed anymore when you’ll be able to order a cab which drives itself and drops you off where you need to go. There are a variety of chemical and compounds that can be used in batteries such as cobalt, plus there will be compounds that will be used in future battery tech that have not yet been discovered or invented. but are batteries the future...... pointless when they're been charged by oil..... it like someone going veggie to save the plant- then living off imported food which is airfreighted in......

But large scale power generation will be emission free in the future, it'll take time but it'll happen. Some countries will take longer than others, and of course there'll always be some 'rogue nations' that won't do it of won't do it very quickly but if they're not oil producing nations they'll probably be forced into no emission power generation because no oil or previously oil producing nations will sell to them or will not be allowed to sell to them.
