Who are you talking about Dick or Timmy?

I have little to add to this topic, apart from the observation that this sounds like Famous Five book club.

Sorry.

Sorry.

Unsurprisingly, no mention of Julian.

Can I be the first to reminisce about the time OMD played the Villa.

This is Aslan who played here around 2004 in The Venue. One of the best bands to come out of Ireland, they were around since the 80's and are still going.  U2 covered one of their hits not long ago. This live show is one of the greatest vocal performances ever recorded, in my humble opinion. The songs are beautiful. And they cover Wish You Were Here, and Angie. Both stunning renditions. enjoy x

Here's a few local bands I remember from my youff. First light (with the exceptionally talented Colin Hines who now plays Guitar for The Christians), Full Crack, Free Trade, Oasis (the Manx one not the Mancs one), Rhen Doo, Renegade, Side Street, EMF, Black Riders, Raven... there's bound to be more I can't think of at the moment.
