If we just took your (or anyone's) word for anything then it would be a dull forum. However, I am not arguing against the correct use of English, just interpretation of what that is in this context. There's plenty of style guides and web pages on-line that indicate either "Jones' car" or "Jones's car" is acceptable. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/punctuation/apostrophe http://www.sussex.ac.uk/informatics/punctuation/apostrophe/possessives https://www.scribendi.com/advice/using_apostrophes.en.html I don't see why I should take your word over theirs. Howard 128
No, I was exclusively referring to English grammar. You can link to as many websites as you like; I'm a more credible source on English grammar.

Isn't the Keys in session? No it's one of those 'virtual' sessions where they only submit Written Questions (86 of them!), the answers to which should appear sometime today. Presumably Rob is missing the backbiting and stupidity he normally gets on Tuesdays on Prospect Hill and has logged into MF to get his fix. (And Declan is right about possessives).
Howard 128
I don't dispute that both options are acceptable. Acceptable isn't good enough. I think we should strive for perfection.

I’m a reasonable guy I accept your use but if you demand that there is only one - Gladys’s has logic in its favour and support from more style guides than Gladys’.
