Isle of Man News and Politics

Actually, only the people who post unpopular or alternative viewpoints should be considered as having "courage". If you're just on there attacking the government 24/7 then you're not exhibiting courage, you're just joining in on the echo chamber. The same with people who run for public office. If you've got no controversial or particularly out of the norm views, you're not really being courageous at all.

It's even sadder when nasty vindictive bullies go after folks with absolutely no regard for their personal circs but more importantly no regard if what was said was true because it made no difference to them whatsoever.

It's called taking and holding the moral low ground.

The Isle of Man, where you can.....

that's you that is........

if the state and its cronies didn't go after you one way or another for telling the truth or asking awkward questions or making comments they don't like there would be no need to use fake names.     a few years back a government employee posted IIRC on these forums asking how many deaths or some such like that years TT would have and he was suspended for quite a while,  just for asking or having a poll on the matter.   and of course Roly Drower said the wrong things too,  not exactly  wrong in content,  but we all knew money talked. and only after gubay turned his toes up did a few other folks say what they  thought.   plenty of truths you can't tell on these forums too,   hillberry ???

Correct.

For all his millions, AG could not buy a first class ticket to see the big man though, could he ?

It is what you are in life that counts, not how much money one has.

Somebody should have got Gubay to understand that.

Many knew at the time of course, but we all now know more about the judge in that case.

Well, erm, maybe if you are rich and influential enough I can provide the result to which you are seeking.

It's a sentence. Or should have been.

It would make a very good film. The full story of which would be considered fiction, but of course, it is all fact.
