dilligaf
What happened to the big finish for tonight's fireworks then ? A great display that just fizzled out ' What a shame Very similar thing happened with the Red Arrows. Is a climax a thing of the past ? thebees
Do adults still like fireworks? Everyone has seen fireworks 750,000,000 times /yawn. What they really need is drone swarms or digital image mapping on a building, now that would be interesting. Edited June 8, 2018 by thebees Because I was only moaning without offering a solution - solution added, all is well.
Pale Rider
They certainly didn't seem as plentiful as in previous years. Digital mapping on a building or perhaps a laser show would be a more innovative idea.

They should start with just a single massive explosion to wipe the fair out would make the display much better, and get the attention of those already pissed. 1
2bees
Fireworks with no noise, pollution or wasting of useful minerals, they could even get Carl Cox to DJ from the Villa garden roof, digital image map the Villa & have a wee drone display over the prom. I’m hoping they take on board this idea (like they did with my cones in Laxey during racing idea & my smaller busses suggestion etc).

Except I'm not from the Isle of Man, only a visitor. It would be innovative because it hasn't been used here before.
2bees
Tbf decent digital image mapping is fairly new & the government/council get boners over putting different coloured LED’s on buildings. It is the truth & you know it.

2bees
I’m not talking about crappy projections- although those acidy ones they had in the school discos (back in the 80’s) would make the area under the Vila arcade look ace. Omg the Villa gardens with parachute screens and projectors would be just like the Glade used to be when I loved it. These are exciting times. 2bees
“You ok hun?” And Woody - stop being awkward you know exactly what I mean. Edited June 9, 2018 by 2bees I hadn’t noticed Woodys silly reply.
