Wonder if the Police and Shoprite paid their £175 objection fees?

Also, what is this 18 month Pulrose Bridge closure all about?

Apparently not happy with just destroying commuter traffic coming in from Onchan, Laxey and Ramsey for the next 3 years by digging up the prom, the DOI also intends to fuck up traffic from the South and the West by replacing Pulrose Bridge for 18 months at the same time. You really couldn’t make it up.

Pretty sure that shoprite's vehicles can come and go along Groves Road so why are they are objecting. You don't hear Thomas apologising to the public when his vehicles are parked outside the warehouse on the main road. Also why not do away with the bushes that look to be included in the plan and create a few more parking spaces.

It's nice of Shoprite to announce that for them.

Government puts a tax on sugar on the spurious basis that it will fight obesity so why do they not simply shut down McDonalds and stop KFC opening back up here?

Isn`t there a weight limit on Pulrose Bridge of 7.5 tonnes anyway, so why would it effect the artics doing deliveries, or the 18 tonners doing collections ?

I think it's about the same as a cat fried rice.

Definitely. All junk food outlets should be shut down.

Perhaps if they could give up a little of their land to allow the pavement to be realigned making it possible to have a pull in and exit lane for traffic to back up into? To be fair, the site is much larger than McD's and should allow traffic to disperse easier.

they could put a bridge across the river to near the gymnastics club and exit the other side of pully bridge or maybe use the old railway line as a one way in or out.
