In his role as the minister for motorsport, I wonder if Mr Callister actually believes what he wrote? It would be quite bizarre if he did.

Allegedly there is a book of secrets that is handed down to each new US president telling them what has gone on, what they are and aren't allowed to discuss etc. I wonder if there is a handbook for new manx politicians and what would be in it.

  • The Civil service can do no wrong
  • Their maths is always accurate and must not be challenged
  • You must defend the TT at all times
  • Shut up and take the money

Do you think they trusted Trump with that book, or just gave it to Mike Pence to look after.

I think they gave Trump a version made of thick cardboard with pretty pictures in it. Not sure they'd trust Pence with it either, there is something incredibly creepy about him. Although at least he stays reasonably quiet.
