There's a strategy?

I didn't know that....

We can throw 30+ million on a new sea terminal in Liverpool that will have limited use for freight but not encourage an airline to base themselves here and get a half decent slot in LHR.

So no, there's no transport strategy..

But as has been pointed out by a commentator on the accompanying iomtoady article, the cost of milk has fallen by 5.2%.

Which is odd, because it's been exactly the same price in Shoprite and everywhere else for well over a year now.

Perhaps the Govt statisticians should be a little more specific in their claims/figures?

Although to be honest, we should all know that the chances of any Manx-produced agricultural or dairy product actually falling in price are equivalent to the finding of talking mongoose turds.

Is that not the profit margin that Manx Gas negotiated!

Nope, its 9.9% for the almost risk-free Gas monopoly.

I believe that figure is exactly what their profit is every year. Strange really.

I wonder if it is anything to do with the new industry that appears to be on the horizon if any of these monies will be utitilies.

Will Liverpudlian techical advisers on relocation funding be brought in to teach  locals about the specialised agricultural farming in local houses

Special education on how to bypass smart electric meters to stop those high lighting bills and crop rotation in the different rooms of the house.

The Ilse of Man where you can get high, highest prices for Gas, highest prices for electricity, just about the highest prices for everything anywhere.
