Cut & paste

Recommended Posts

Go to 1:40:30 where Chris Robertshaw MHK raises the prickly subject of using examples from the Wigan strategy despite the Department suggesting it is in touch with the Island's population. There is an awkward silence and this is where Speaker Watterson takes up the issue.

But there is more to all this than the Wigan thingy, the Department seems to be mightily proud of its high levels of highly paid meeting goers.

To be fair, I can see why I am not a highly paid civil servant.

If I was at one of these committees and someone questioned me and I hadn't a clue how to get out of it, I would simply say "fucked if I know?"

Ah, you can never have enough meetings to avoid proper work.

Embarrassing.

I'll have a go at a health care "vision" and a "strategy"

Vision

Make sure everyone is a well as possible in as cost effective and caring a manner as possible.

Strategy & Implementation

Move everyone to Wigan.

I dread to think of what “cut and paste” solutions they’ve come up with over our Brexit legislation either.

Did the member of staff concerned formerly work for Wigan?

Yes, it doesn't bear thinking about with Howard at the helm of negotiations

And the result will be the same - it'll cost the taxpayer money somewhere down the line

If  the laziness and dishonesty   of this blatent piece of plagerism   was not enough, the DHSC  adds (its own) pompous finale:

“All rights reseved. No  part of  this publication  may be reproduced ....( Blah blah blah..)” ... “ without the written permission of Michael Morris ”

Also as it’s 4/5 years old, spoiler alert, we know how it pans out. Can’t wait for the sequel
