Do you think there is even the slightest chance of any kind of workable solution being found when you have Mr Bean running the consultation and the usual small few property moguls ( that’s as pc as I get) responding and lobbying. NAFC!

An average. Rather than having our "premier" municipalities setting rates far above outlying areas. I know they claim to have amenities etc to run but when you look at the money squandered by the Corpy and Ramsey....unfit.

I'm expecting rates to rise and will be gob smacked if they don't. The current rate and seemingly the new system are very unfair to many . But hey powers don't care about unfairness just what brings them more money and provide less services .

........but isn't that pretty much as now? No spreading of total costs across the iSLAND?

One example would be someone living inthe north or south but working in Douglas would be making more use of the roads but, maybe, paying Bride or Rushen rates ! Fair?
