Don't disagree.

cycling channels aggression.......remove the bike and you have a angry person if they can't control  aggression.......

Maybe for some, personally I've never felt particularly angry on a pushbike. Are you saying all cyclists or some cyclists? Presumably if you are saying some then aren't those people angry with or without a bike, or is the bike the source of the anger?

You don't need aggression to ride a bike, but I accept that some cyclists might be aggressive. At the same time you simply cannot say that some car drivers are not aggressive.

Careful, the one in the middle has a proper death stare going on. She's ginger as well, we all know that they are the worst for it.

It’s very interesting to see how the thread has been derailed by the usual bickering to the point that people now seem more angry about bicycles possibly being required to be registered than someone who has assaulted his wife in a case of domestic abuse who should certainly have known better.

If you wanted a discussion about domestic violence rather than poor cyclist behaviour, you probably should have chosen a different title. One that put the focus on Bellis's abuse rather than his cycling.

You nudged the conversation down this route.

I don't think you do. Popping to the shops on a bike takes no more aggression than walking. It's just a mode of transport. Maybe you're confusing the hobbyists in lycra with those that use it as an occasional mode of transport.

Lycra lout, Militant walker…. sound like good potential Viz characters. I must be getting old, I can’t keep up with whatever is the latest thing to get upset about.

Dearie me, we really do love protecting our national sportsman from any criticism don’t we. Even the wife beating ones! Yes, it’s all my fault for titling this thread!

That's not the point I was making. That's he's a cyclist is immaterial to whether he's a wife beater, yet you focused on cycling in the title and then moaned when the discussion when down that route.
