Kopek
I thought the Police said to treat them as 'Raceways'?

I never said I had right of way because nobody has eight of way on them. I said some clown beeped at me because he clearly thought he had right of way - despite the fact I was going straight on them rough an unmarked junction and the clown tried to say in front of me to turn right straight across my path. Unfortunately your lack of understanding as displayed in your posts here shows exactly why he thought he was right.

However moving on, the article says "giving way to other users". So everyone gives way to everyone. Very confusing. It seems in @Ramseyboi s latest experience the other person expected that Ramseyboi should give way. My conclusion therefore is that the Bullies will win and the meek with give way. Bit like Quarterbridge but without the lines and rules😭
The Phantom
I had to wait at the Villa at the weekend for about 15 mins for something, so went up on the balcony to admire 'myprom' and the 'not-roundabouts'. Everyone was definitely treating it like a roundabout. I watched one guy coming down from Broadway, sit there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone on his right (north bound) to let him out. Nobody did.

More recently, when the police asked them for clarification, they’d changed to uncontrolled junctions. they were roundabouts on the pretty pictures at the sea terminal IIRC ?? Nobody did. Just shows how thick people are. I am deliberately treating them differently each to time I go down there to spice things up a bit and wind up the clowns who think they have right of way when they don’t. A serious point though, unless I messed it when you come down Broadway there is literally no road sign of recognised road marking to advise you that the road does anything but carry on. The only thing you see is a red or green light depending on if there is anyone on the crossing. My passenger (from off island, double jabbed, don’t panic) quite rightly said that he would have probably seen the green light and just cracked on as he couldn’t understand why I slowed down to a crawl
NoTail
I am considering having a picnic on the roundel at the bottom of Broadway. It is a shared space after all.

That's if they're not already being embarrassed into it.

I don't think 'embarrassed' is a concept that the DoI have. Otherwise they would have curled up and died years ago.

english zloty
Suggest pedestrians look left and right at the Wedding Cake end of Finch Road. Nearly got taken out by someone bombing in off Prospect Hill (a solitary sign indicates the change of flow) and I have seen 3 vehicles going the now wrong way whilst typing this! Gladys
Yes, I watched a car go down Finch Road from the Bucks Road end to be met with oncoming traffic. Lots of loud exchanges, but at least the disabled parking bays were there to do a three point turn.
Annoymouse
Saw a car go the wrong way myself today, the no entry signs should be enough of a clue but the same happened when they reversed Market St, there is a sign at the end of Finch Rd suggesting pedestrians look both ways so I assume it’s a known issue. They're taking the piss, they keep putting down horse tram tracks then lifting them up. Just chalk it down as a loss and tarmac over it.
