horse trams/dogs/cyclists/pedestrians not a good mix

Did you know that a pavement exists & runs all the way from the bottom of Summer Hill to the bottleneck car park (with the exclusion of the Broadway junction).

There would have been plenty of room to accommodate all if designed correctly.

Horses running on busy roads (and getting busier by the year) is a worse mix believe me.

I don’t know about that PmJ. In many European big cities everyone manages to share the space pretty well with everyone giving consideration to their surroundings. It’s only seems to be in GB that everyone seems to pour hate on anyone else who wishes to share their space.

There lies the problem.

If I remember correctly, didn't the Corpy remove the cycling lane because a number of people wanted to walk nearer the railings

It will be on the seaward side from the Villa to the Sea Terminal. The rest remains in the middle of the road.

All sorts of random parking chaos just announced. Anyone would think it wasn't planned.

One man, now deceased, stopped the horse trams being moved onto the promenade by digging around and finding an old byelaw which did not allow this, it subsequently cost over a million pounds for new plans to be drawn up.   It was a total disgrace there was nothing wrong with the idea.

Why these tracks (single track with passing places) are not being laid on the promenade walkway is beyond me.

Complete madness.

Why these tracks are being laid at all?

You have just confirmed my earlier post where I stated you are part of the problem. You weren't mentioned but felt you had to join in

You seem to be struggling with the concept of right to reply.

I was offering you advice about his behaviour, having agreed with your post.

I hadn't realized that it was your intention to ban me from contributing. Maybe you should have let me know. Pm me hun x

I realise that you may think that to be the case. But i only reply to people who quote me which is my right to reply. Apart from that, i reply on topic always.

If you think i have derailed a thread, please show an example of where a thread was on topic and then i derailed it. I can assure you that i havent and i always take part in the forums with honesty and integrityx

Not for the first time, you seem to have a problem remembering what you actually wrote.
