Never liked the tosser, to be honest. For me, he and auntie richly deserved each other.

What gets me about the Danny Baker sacking is that it's clearly a mistake, which he rectified and apologised for immediately. It's like genuine mistakes can't be forgiven anymore.

Danny Baker remains today what Danny Baker has always been - a gobshite prick. Genuine mistake or not (and what a fucking stupid image to post anyway) being a gobshite prick will inevitably one day lead you into deep water. And possibly into employment at the Daily Mail.

Yeah. It's a bit like the News of the World used to be. Tutt-tutting at the loss of moral fibre whilst simultaneously searching out the most salcious sex stories to fill the rag with.

Regular reader then?

If he made a sincere apology he might had got away with it.

However Baker is an intelligent man, I doubt he was unaware that Meghan is mixed race.

How can anyone make a mistake like that?  The only mistake he made was tweeting it. That was deliberate.

The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a boy today!

My thoughts on this?

I subscribe to the statement attributed to Denis Diderot, Men will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.

Complete storm in a tea cup, it's a pity no one at the BBC has some common sense and a spine instead of rushing to cover their own ass and knowingly, massively increasing the publicity of the "offensive " tweet.

No, but my dear old Mum was. One day she was reading out a typical NotW report about a burglar who had been surprised by the female householder who was grabbed, held at knifepoint and forced to perform oral sex on her assailant.

"Isn't it terrible." said Mum, and then, quizzically: "What's oral sex?"

So I told her. She made a noise like she'd been poleaxed, her face contorted in horror. "UUUGGGHHHHH. God! That's AWFUL!!"

Well she did ask. Didn't stop her reading it though.

Says it's not racist despite posting a picture of a monkey. Says he didn't know whose baby it was. Right. Stands outside his £2m house and says it's all about the class struggle with not a hint of irony. Typical champagne socialist warrior who climbed the greasy pole to wealth by the long prevalent liberal patronage of mediocrity.

Spot on.

Heard the other day that the liberal patronage of mediocrity was responsible for the horrific outbreak of Bubonic Plague in London in 1665.

Those liberal bastards eh?

Thank goodness that the EDL of the day in trying to burn out foreigners torched the whole city in 1666.

Little wonder the UK voted for Brexit.

You know it makes sense....

Just satirically pointing out that liberals are not responsible for all the worlds ills and they're a much better option than the racist thugs of the alt-right.

There you go....

Working class Londoner, grows up in a council estate, leaves school at fifteen and through his wits and hutzpah largely through freelance work is able to buy a house that has since appreciated in value. And that’s a reason for the right to criticise him?

I think he’s never really enjoyed the patronage of the BBC - they keep finding reasons to sack him, even when most of radio five, the radio 2 breakfast show (until recently), Top Gear, and lots of BBC local radio are clearly influenced by him.
