Why call him Dick ?

I asked if you like Dick, as it looked like you might not like Dick.

In a Meatloaf voice, " I'll bet you say that to all the boys ";)

It would be nice to think so

Always sends a shiver down my back hearing so many sirens.

No it’s a strange word association thing with me I think. I don’t think I’m a bully wishing to find obscure ways to rip into people.

Anyway, back to the TT.

Bushy's was excellent last night. It's going to remain excellent I am sure. What a stage and what a venue. The place is a festival+++.

We also went up to the place at the Grandstand.  Nice stage area, nice bar (love the beer pump arrangement). A spot on well thought out layout with an area fronting onto the return lane/Glencruthcery Road.

These venues can't be compared, both fantastic in their own unique ways, and catering for all.

Tip - Bushy's bouncers don't need to be intimidating when people are leaving (ok maybe on the way in,  their presence has to made) and it was nice to have a polite 'good evening'. Cheers guys.

Tip - Grandstand Bouncers - Protek? Good to see the baldy boss fella seems to have learned that continually staring at people to make his presence known is a bit of a shit and intimidating thing to do. We know you are tough and don't need to prove it by intimidatingly staring at people then looking away when they are forced to look back. Some people go out for an enjoyable night out and don't fit into your experience of everyone is a potential troublemaker.

There, said it.

Does feel strange not having anything the Sea Terminal end of the Prom.

Good atmosphere in Douglas yesterday evening.

Then went down to Castletown (great that you can catch a bus outside the Villa and go straight through) saw a band at the Secret Pizza then another at Compton Vaults. Place is chilled, there’s kids playing in the square, people eating takeaways, George, Union, Garrison, Leonardos looked packed. Castletown of all places.
