Prices are the same, prices are higher, used to be + 40% now only 30%!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just amazed that people can remember all the prices of their shopping basket! I use Tesco for a range of specific items and I couldn't tell you the price of half of them!

You shop like my Mrs then. Looking at the feckin food bill, she couldn’t tell you the prices either

Only when fresh basil is in season

It's always in season. And it freezes great anyhow.

I hold my hands up from the outset that this is a proper MF 'heard it down the pub' scenario.  But word has it that Shoprite is ending its relationships with Waitrose and Iceland and switching to Sainsbury's.

Anyone else heard similar?

I hope so. Waitrose aren't so bad, but Iceland's products are atrociously poor quality. I was on the toilet for days after trying their No Bull burgers.

Vomit too. I have had similar problems with other Iceland foods in the past which is why I avoid them.

I shall be sorry to see Iceland go.... some of their stuff is so-so but they do some good stuff as well but in both cases I've never been ill from eating any of their offerings.

Always have a couple of their offerings in the freezer for when I can’t be arsed to cook.
Also handy for a microwave lunchtime at work

News today...Sainsburys closing hundreds of stores in UK because they cannot compete with Aldi etc, this says it all about its prices.

Food is okay, more than likely the way you prepare it...

It's greedy to decline to sell your business to a UK chain?

Greedy to hold out for an unrealistic price

What a great endorsement. It’s like saying that Boris Johnson - he’s never actually punched me in the face so I suppose he’s ok!

Their No Bull range was definitely bad. It was not my cooking or preparation; I am a very good cook.
