Out of curiosity, if you know someone who got a job using false information on their CV, who do you report that too?

Well I’ve known cases where it has been held to be obtaining a pecuniary advantage, so if you can prove it, the cops are probably the first port of call.

And now the liability tops £4Bn (this week's Examiner). Up £448M in the 2018 - 2019 figures.

This just cannot be sustainable for a small island economy

I worked in a UK local government. One of the heads of Department was found to have falsified his CV by saying he had a degree when in fact he had not. He was eventually dismissed but not without a huge payout. The fault was found to be with the local authority for not checking the CV at the time of employment.

Not quite the same thing, but there has been a high profile case of a consultant doing a lot of work on the Isle of Man where it was implied his qualifications were in one area, when in fact they were in an entirely different area. (The many millions of wasted money to the cost of IoMGov/taxpayer might bear this out).

Chris Thomas issues the final statement on the matter.

Therefore IOMG has to become THE vehicle of green transformation

And the Curran Report to be the backbone of the next programme for government

With the already hard pressed taxpayers at the heart of it?

Down think the hard pressed public will wear that anymore

The IOMG establishment is so shockingly expensive that it itself has to become the vehicle of climate responsive change
