Great to hear this back again on Manx Radio's AM frequency. A million miles better than the cr*p offered by the BBC's radio stations nowadays.

Is the internet quality as poor as listening on A.M. as that sounds like it's being broadcast from the moon.

208 sounded quite good on my trusty Binatone back in the day!

It was the fading on distant medium wave stations that was the killer. Certainly on Luxembourg even with 500kw power. After Caroline North closed down at 8.30pm each evening, they recommended retuning to Caroline South which broadcast 24 hours a day, but the fading made that a challenge too.
