and they are generally British citizens, they are the UK's problem. The whole of this is deporting criminals who don't have the right to stay in the UK.

Well, after they have served their sentences if you deported them to "Country of Origin" they would end up in Rochdale.

Punishment in itself really....

Revoking citizenship is not a easy thing to do. Besides which, if someone is British and then has their citizenship revoked (thereby making them stateless) where do you propose shipping them to? I can't imagine there will be a lot of countries wanting them. Getting back to the thread topic, the law can be used to get rid of non-British problems but British problem remain the UK's problem.

I believe UK citizenship can only be revoked if it will not render them "stateless".
