You mean " More practical solutions" You mean something along the lines of the "italian job" the scooters catch up to a truck, and go up the ramp and stop ?

I think the most practical solution here would be for Eric to stay in Ramsey, only venturing to Douglas with a friend in a car.

Eric C's being stymied in his bid to help the environment and save the planet from terminal climate change by using public transport.

Fundamentally he’s right. The least a public bus service should be able to do is allow disabled people to get from A to B to stop them being housebound. Surely that is one of the primary services that should be provided by a state funded bus company. But unfortunately he’s a total bell end.

Yeah something like that.

Any truth that he was the one protesting at the Strand Shopping Centre this morning?

Albert, you have hit on a great idea here, What about a mobility scooter TT ?,  sponsored by SAGA, a government pension scheme.

Sort of leaves a person wondering as to what would happen 'IF' the Post Office is knocked on the head in Ballasalla and the nearest one is Castletown, then would people like him have problems cashing pension/benefits/whatever?

I am so reassured that Mr Thomas is dealing with it

The post office at Ballasalla is scheduled to finish in early April.

But they do allow wheelchairs including powered ones - which are what disabled people use. He's talking about a vehicle designed to allow less able people go from A to B.

Someone asks what the person in Ballasalla will do when the post office closed. He'd ride his scooter to Castletown, get off it and enter the Post Office there. OR he'd ride it to the bus stop, leave it at the stop and get on the bus (someone in Ballasalla already does this).
