If I’m not mistaken there hasn’t been a medical contribution to the daily government briefing since very early on in the sequence. Does anyone else find this both a little odd and also disappointing? Medical contributors are present every time at the English equivalent. Of course our medics are extremely busy but, given the very nature of Coronavirus, periodic opportunity to hear from experts, and to have the media able to proffer questions to them, would be most welcome.

I’n happy for the medical guys, including Dr Alex, to let Howard and Peter Kay know what’s going on and what’s needed. And when this is all over the NHS staff should be honoured like the heroes they are.
